Why

In all my hours of Counselling and working with people in wellness one thing stood out,  that most people who had issues or dramas,  challenges or ‘shit’ to deal with in their life,  had poor eating habits or their own self issues that resulted in poor eating habits. Now you may not think they go hand in hand BUT they hold a huge and direct link.  One that is becoming more apparent day by day.

What if..

I know you have heard it before - but I will ask you to read it again. We simply cannot and will never be able to please everyone all the time, nor please most most of the time, at best we may please some some of the time! We simply cannot continue to go down a path of doing it all - to have it all - because this mentality is killing us!

You-n-Me

Embrace - connection is about embracing.  It asks us to open our heart, to make sure our shawls are draped around our shoulders and not covering our chest. It allows us to stay open to all thats in front of us and ready to become us. It allows us to embrace others fully with our arms out spread and hearts open.

Sleep

As with all things wellness, there is only YOUR way.  The way in which you approach sleep, and connect with sleep has to be conducive to only you. There are so many ways to sleep, styles of sleep, patterns for sleep and each of them are only going to work for that person, we simply have to begin to become more conscious of our need to be individual, that we need our own food plan, exercise plan, wellness plan and sleep plan.

Exercise

Yes exercise and gut microbiota are hugely aligned and they help keep the first two functioning.  So the gut wouldn't be the same without exercise. Its stimulation in movement and the replenishing oxygen helps to stimulate the gut microbiota and assist with its continual growth and renewal.  Our gut bacteria renews constantly and quickly if it is function with optimum health.  It loves to be replenished and renewed and it the flow is happening and all things working properly, we find ourselves working to great gut benefits.

Stress

Stress is at the root of many if not most of all our wellness issues.  That's a bold statement but its true.  Of all the people I have seen and continue to see over many years talking about wellness or those seeking counselling in general, stress is always a huge factor that is revealed.  It's so crafty it appears in many areas of life, not just one, and it can take hold with a vice like grip that locks out solutions.

D Word

For centuries diets have been used as a word and way in which we control eating.  For some it was a word that we had to use.  We had to be on a diet of some description in order to be 'doing what was expected' for us to be in shape.  Being on a diet was trendy.  For many others it was a word they pained to use as it brought more agony than success.

Bubbles

Contrary to what was believed in the past, they believe that carbonated beverages can have a negative effect on the digestive process. The carbon dioxide present in these drinks increases the acidification of gastric juices and accelerates their production, which also accelerates digestion but also causes acid reflux, acidity, and absorption problems, which can be especially painful for people that suffer from gastritis and stomach ulcers.

Needs

Ask any person of their wants and they can rattle off a list as long as their arm.  But to ask of what we simply need, is another story.  Aside from stating the obvious of air and food and water, very few of us can identify what our body needs, what our mind needs, and rarely what our soul needs are.The issue with this is a key factor in determining wellness.  Because true wellness is  based on need not want.

Creation

When you're a creator, stories come to you asking to be told. They come begging you to pull them from within you, and reveal them to all those around.  They come already formed as a piece of the threads of life.  They are already a part of you, almost a deep memory waiting to be pulled again to life.  They come seeking you because you are the only one who knows exactly how to bring it to life.

Mothering

The energy that ultimately creates life.  It is this energy that we all hold within, that if we take the time to nurture within ourselves can provide a joy and gift to those around us.  An energy that protects as much as it nurtures.  An energy to soothes and heals.  That can reconnect us to an inner peace of compassion.

The Jun

I know there are many many articles written about the benefits of Kombucha.  In fact the wellness industry is ripe at the moment with everyone talking about the benefits of gut health and diet and the incredible impact aligning these two components has on our wellness.

Despite this, here I am writing another one, because I want to be my kinda clear as to whats in JUN and why each aspect of it was chosen to become the creation for your well BEING.

Being

If it isn't enough that we are working to know our own inner space, every day we are working this into a community, into relationships, into the movement of those around us.  If you can imagine right now the sun and the moon and the planets and the stars all rotating around each other yet at the same time being themselves - well this is exactly what we are all doing here, within our own self, and moving around each other.  As above, so below.

Alchemy

Alchemy is not really about creating,  It is the art of discovering creation within all things.
An alchemist, sees all things within creation and allows them space to become. Allowing ourselves to create without boundaries. To take risks in order to discover what lies within.

Women

I write this rambling for both business women and mums, with the thought to align the two important fields of work that we do.  We create and we love. Both of these are the extras that we get to enjoy as women.  I also write this for the women who aren't mums, because within their desire to bring in new life, we mustn't limit ourselves as to what that is, what life we do bring alive,

Legacy

As I pulled on this thread of success, it became more and more apparent to me, that yes, there are those who find success, create success, make success, through doing.  Through business, through connections and networks there are many who have made great wealth and some of these have used that to impact the lives of others.

Empower

My point here is this. We learn from a young age to form friendships and connections based on a mindset of inequality.  In amongst our time of becoming, in our own insecurity, in our own attempt to find our own love and esteem and confidence, it is often done through the use of belittling others.

Healing

Healing is the relief of what seems an endless journey.  Where we return to a time and space of wellness, of being able to experience joy and happiness.  Lets face it pain is debilitating.  Be it a tooth ache, head ache or back ache, be it the ache of a disease running rampant through our body or of the soul that longs to be on purpose, the scale of pain can never be measured.

Sensual

The greater we learn to control and work with our senses we master our own truth and being and it becomes the masters ways of silence,  To honour all that we are, and our impact upon life and each other and to become one with it all through our senses.

It's you

The future of wellness lies in our own hands.  Simple?  Maybe on the surface yes, but it requires you being called to task. I simply can't express to you enough how over the next few years this is going to truly come to the fore, and if you aren't going to begin now, you will find yourself even more lost in the years to come.
